Day 005 of 365: Books

Today’s photo relates to my desire to improve my photography knowledge, the artistic, technical and business aspects. I love reading and expanding my mind. With these books I hope to solidify some goals for my business and figure out the next steps that I need to take. I have read/skimmed through most of these books once already but need to spend some time actually putting these ideas into practice. This photo was prompted by the fact that I got Fast Track Photographer in the mail today. I was one of the lucky winners of the recent giveaway by Dane Sanders and ShootQ. My plan with this book is to pass it on to another photographer (I haven’t decided how I’m going to chose the lucky recipient yet). I have the audio version that I am going to listen to again. If you have any other books that I should read, let me know.

Day 004 of 365: Resolutions

I’ve made 2 resolutions, actually commitments, for this New Year. The first one is this Photo-A-Day Project. The second commitment that I made along with my wife is to do 30 minutes of activity a day. To assist us in this, we got Just Dance for the Wii. It is pretty fun even though my wife kicks my butt every time we play, but that’s alright. We can actually play this with our daughter around. She loves music and loves to dance. Of course we haven’t given her a Wiimote yet, but she still likes to dance with us. Photo was taken on my Motorola Droid and processed in Photoshop.

Day 003 of 365: Website editing

Day three's photo was hard for me to come up with an idea. I am attempting to come up with a unique photo for each day that will reflect my current situation. Also I am shooting with my camera phone as a way to expand myself and see how creative I can get with a very simple camera. Today's photo directly relates to my photography business, it is a photo of my computer and the backend to my blogsite. I am constantly tweaking and trying to make it better.

Enjoy!
