Six Month Session with Miss ‘B’

I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Miss ‘B’ again at six months old.  You might remember her debut on Jarman Photo. She was so curious in her first photo session with me that she didn’t want to go to sleep.  This time around was a little different. She really didn’t want anything to do with having her portrait taken.  I really love the opportunity to see and photograph children as they grow up. Especially in the first 18-24 months of their lives, they change so much. They develop their own personalities and attitudes, they get their bearings when walking and they discover the joys of laughter.

I was able to capture many sides of Miss ‘B’ during this session. Enjoy the photographs.

Newborn Session with Miss ‘E’

A short time ago I had the opportunity to meet with and photograph Miss ‘E’ and here parents.  Miss ‘E’ was just a few weeks old  and was so excited about her photo shoot.  She did not want to sleep at all during the session, but we still had a great time.  Here are a few from this fun newborn session.

Welcoming Miss ‘B’ to Jarman Photo

At the end of 2010, I had the pleasure of photographing little Miss ‘B’.  She was such a cute baby who didn’t want to sleep at all.  She was a fascinated by the lights and the camera.  Towards the end of the session she finally fell asleep and we were able to capture a few of those peaceful baby shots.

I had so much fun at this session and absolutely love photographing newborns.  Newborns are so innocent and pure.  It always reminds of the first time I held my own daughter. The absolute joy and the amazing opportunities she would have.  Children are definitely our future.

Enjoy the photos.

Photographers Unleashed: SMUG party & a photo booth

On December 16th, we had our last Knox SMUG (SmugMug User Group) of the year.  What do photographers do to unwind and have fun? Well, we setup a photo booth, added props and let the craziness begin.

To start, here is Shannon Kelley and myself.  Shannon is the main host of the Knoxville SMUG and I am the co-host.  Shannon is a great photographer and has such enthusiasm to help the Knoxville photographic community. Checkout Shannon’s write of the night on her blog.Smug Party 1 Photographers Unleashed: SMUG party & a photo booth
